La Lanternina 2 Di Palmieri - FOLLONICA

Had a lovely meal at this restaurent. was gutted we found out about it at the end of our trip. Would have come here every day otherwise. Great food, friendly staff, very reasonable prices

The Lanternina 2 by Palmieri is not, I think, conceived to be an outstanding restaurant with gourmet cuisine, but rather as a lungomare place where you have simple food like pizza, fried fish, salads and the like by the sea. Having said that, the place is solidly managed, with good service, higher than average food quality, honest prices, and is accordingly often almost full (BTW: it has lots of tables, but reservation is recommended). The restaurant is listed by the Italian Celiac Association as one providing reliable gluten-free food, and it stands well up to expectations: I would say that this is one of the places where I have perceived the greatest possible care on the issue. Even foods that are theorically gluten-free by themselves are prepared in two different ways for celiac or non celiac customers (and the gluten-free version costs about 1 extra euro, which to me is another symptom of actual care).

Delicious restaurant. excellent dishes, very kind and available. arrived without the slightest reservation. at a time, octopus with potatoes and a tide of dishes to choose from. recommended!

Good restaurant, good value for money, fresh fish and well cooked. I don't give 5 stars just because the service is better.

Nice place on the catwalk. cook fish but with meat and pizza dishes. fresh fish and cooked well. Gorgeous pizza. improved service. We waited too long between the two courses. average prices
