Bidrage med feedbackJust stopped for a quick drink while sightseeing in Foligno and it was a really pleasant surprise. They served the grandest of aperol spritzes and it wasn’t just a big drink dominated by huge ice cubes. Of course it came with the mandatory snacks on the side. And with the perfect views of the cathedral and Piazza della Repubblica, the Bar Duomo is really a worthy pit stop.
Knowingly served me a drink made with gone off milk. All round terrible. Never coming back that’s for sure
On our half day visit to Foligno we navigated our way from the train station into the part of the town we wanted to start our visit, now it was time for morning coffee. We found Bar Duomo tucked down to the side of Cathedral of San Feliciano, just off Piazza della Repubblica, it was just what we were looking for, a quiet cafe bar to sit and relax and have a coffee and pastry. The staff were very pleasant and accepting of our basic Italian, we thoroughly enjoyed our coffee and the pastry which was nice and crunchy on the ends. We were in no hurry to leave the cafe or Foligno, what a surprise Foligno was, just wished we had stayed longer in this town.
