Signature Chop House - FLUSHING

They made my wife's drink wrong and then denied it. Wife ordered fillet medium well, it came out rare, with the wrong side. She sent it back and they charred the outside and still pink inside. First fillet I have seen with fat marbled in it. I ordered lamb chops and they came out covered in barbecue sauce. This was not stated on the menu. Our bill was $125, not cheap. They include 15% tip on the bill. This is not stated on the menu and the waitress did not tell us. We paid with CC and when she brought the receipts back for me to sign, the detail sheet was missing. Shocking!!! Good thing we checked the bill the first time. Scammers! Will not be returning, ever!

I have to say that I know the restaurant is under new management. The food was not good I have never had BBQ sauce on lamb chops! They were overcooked. My son wanted steak rolls was told no steak so he took chicken rolls.. My mother says the Merlot tasted like cool-aid. They don 't have a selection of wines yet I spent $160 on my dinners? I won 't be back. Great atmosphere trash food and okay service. Oh and they have the audacity to take the tip out automatically!

Food was different but good. Steak had an unusual vinaigrette type taste bust was tender and flavorful. Artichoke dip was amazing. Service was slow and they didn’t have items that were on the menu but had items that were not on the menu. I ordered a coors light then the waitress came back and said they don’t have coors light so I ordered a Corona. About 10 minutes later I asked where my beer was, she said they had to run to the store to get it. I said well you could have got coors light if you were going to the store. Finally, I see someone carrying cases of beer. One case of several different kinds so I did get my coors light but very odd.They also add 15% gratuity to everything and give two prices on the bill. Mine was $148 for cash and $153 for credit card but the gratuity was already figured based on the credit card price. This total was for 3 people so pricing wasn’t horrible.

Not sure what became of my portuguese speaking chef or the fine establishment it once was. Came at 10 pm on Saturday, hours posted as open til 12 am. Place locked up and thugs parked here and there in parking lot, tossing beer cans about. Smdh

The worst Mother's Day I have ever had! Signature Chop House used to be one of my favorite restaurants when I came back to Michigan. Now I will NEVER go there again. The food was simply horrible. The place is no longer impeccably clean but rather unkept. Definitely a total waste of time and money!! Some things and places should be left as they were originally intended. This is one of them! Under new management should be changed to completely destroyed by new management! Never Again!!!
