Pokewave - FLUSHING

I've eaten my first time here! We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who clearly explained how to order. Everything tasted fresh with the perfect amount of spice. What I like most is that the fish is not marinated like other places that serve poke. While we were there, we saw the cook cut the fish fresh, which was also wonderful to see and you taste the freshness! I also enjoyed the options of zucchini noodles instead of white rice a healthy alternative. All in this place is wonderful weather to sit and stay, eat or take a bowl to go. Can't wait to go back!

Yummm! This was prefect! I always have the hardest time selecting something to eat when I'm on this side of town. This was a great choice. Guilt free, tasty, the vibe was cool and I even shazamed a few new songs from the playlist they had going. Cool spot!

The portions here are amazing for the prices. I try to come here at least 3 times a week, before school. They have lots of options and the onigiri is amazing. Love this spot

Small restaurant great poke wave bowl! Will be back to try other Poke bowls!

This is the first poke place I've ever tried in New York, and coming from the Bay Area, I have pretty high standards. I like this place because you can make your own, and prices are relatively good. I made a bowl with half rice half greens, salmon tuna grilled eel, most of the toppings, and the spicy mayo sauce. It was delicious! We got a free nigiri too, and got the salmon. The fish was really fresh though they should've given more. The grilled eel was awesome very flavorful and tender, I was really happy with it. Everything was quite delicious, and prices were pretty good too. They're kind of slow at bringing food out. There's a few tables to sit to eat at, but not a ton of space. Good though, I'll be back (hopefully)!
