Joongkoogjip - FLUSHING

So I came here for her noodles. It wasn't so expected, but still good. They also served in huge portions. The chicken is okay. I'm just not in this kind of texture. (Peaceful meat is soft in sauce.

The restaurant is pretty popular and full during lunch time but the wait isn't too bad. I came here for the jja jang myun. It's my first time having non-instant jja jang myun so I don't know how it comes to other places but it was very good. They serve a small cup of tea and pickled turnips and radishes on the side. The noodles of the jja jang myun was perfect, soft yet slightly chewy. The flavor of the sauce was good too but on the light side. There was plenty of vegetables and onions in the sauce but not much meat. At the end they give two pieces of sweet fried dough. Some of the other noodle dishes other people ordered looked huge!

Staff here are friendly and efficient! We came here with a larger group of 6 and was seated quickly on a Sunday night. The dishes were delicious- especially the ggan poong yuk and ganso shrimp! Will certainly come back.

The jjajangmyeon (Korean noodles in black bean sauce) here is really impressive. We also sampled their dumplings and tang (fried pork with sauce), and both dishes were excellent. To top off our meal, they served us small roasted dough balls coated in molten sugar, which were quite delicious and made for a delightful ending. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I've visited this restaurant several times and always look forward to indulging in their jajangmyeon (Korean Chinese noodles with black bean sauce)! The service here is quick and efficient. The jajangmyeon noodles and sauce are absolutely delicious! They also serve the perfect accompaniments, including yellow radish, raw onion, vinegar, and extra black bean sauce. The jjampong (seafood noodle soup) is also fantastic and not too spicy for my palate. Lastly, I really enjoy their tangsuyuk (fried pork), especially since they provide the option of having the sauce on the side upon request! I highly recommend ordering these three dishes for a wonderful meal while enjoying drinks with friends!
