The Flour Shop Bakery - Flower Mound

Ordered this cake on Tuesday. I asked for pricing when I ordered it and they said it would be between $30-$40 and it will feed 8-10 people. Cake is beautiful but when I got there they said the total was $65. I questioned them on it ,as that is not whatwas stated on the phone when placing the order, and she said ya it?s because the writing and sunflowers. I don?t see how thatdoubles the price. Picture below, again it looks beautiful but I don?t know how I am supposed to serve this to eight to tenpeople. Disappointed to say the least as the birthday get together is tomorrow and don?t have many other options. Really feel asif y?all need to be more up front about pricing and realistic on serving sizes. Again it?s beautiful but transaction was nottransparent at all.

This was my first time ever ordering a custom cake and cookies. They turned out perfect! The cake looks exactly like the photo idea I sent them, and the cookies complemented the cake as requested. I will order from The Flour Shop again!

Got my husband’s birthday cake here. Recommended by a friend. It was wonderful! He wanted chocolate so I got chocolate with chocolate mousse filling, chocolate buttercream icing. Ordered for 20 people none of it was left even though we were short a couple of people. My experience is that cakes can look like pieces of art but lack taste this cake was pretty and the taste was above expectations!

On the downside, the only dessert option available during my visit was gluten-free cupcakes. I assume that other gluten-free options like bars or cookies can be preordered. The Oreo bar I tried was very rich, so I cut it into thirds and put some in the freezer for later. The cupcakes were delicious, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. Overall, a good experience!

I visited several restaurants, and this one stands out as the best. They consistently offer a great variety of desserts, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
