State Draft House - Flower Mound

My partner and I, along with a group of friends, went out last night to enjoy ourselves and catch the Cowboys game. I had called the night before and spoke with the manager, John, who was extremely friendly and assured me that our group would be well taken care of. We were seated in the private dining room, and Cole was our server. He mentioned that he was new, but he did an excellent job. He was attentive to our needs and very personable. The food was delicious—the fried pickles were a highlight! The beer selection was also impressive. I didn't try any cocktails this time, but I'll definitely give them a shot on my next visit as the menu had some intriguing options. Overall, I'm really glad we decided to check this place out, and I think we may have found a new favorite spot.

My second visit - this time for dinner and it was still fantastic! they love the look, the branding, the bierlists that scroll on the screen. fried pickles were excellent- an surprise bc they are sweet pickles! this time I had the statesburgs and pommes, nabeby had the chicken pliers teller wobble rings -yum! our server, ray, was great! he knows the menu and the beer list well and could lead us in our decisions. we are coming back! Welcome to flo mo!

I had the poutine fries, which were topped with vibrant gravy and cheese curds. They also included bacon and the perfect amount of jalapeños. I absolutely fell in love with this calorie-packed dish; it was a new culinary experience for me even at my age. Additionally, the fried pickles were the best I’ve ever had—nothing else comes close. They were slightly sweet and not overly salty like some fried pickles, and the batter was almost like tempura, incredibly crispy. Oh, and I should mention that they have an impressive selection of about 60 beers on tap. I tried the Temptress Nitro, and it made for a great day!

That is completely our kind of space. the very extensive bier selection is all texas local and constantly changing. the fried pickles are some of the best I ever had. we love their flatbreads and their burgers. the personal is friendly and welcoming. we often come here and are never disappointed.

Great food and great service. Lots of Texas craft beers as well as Texas wines and liquors. A hidden gem in FloMo.
