Bidrage med feedbackAlways see la Madeleine throughout the DFW area and finally went in. Very adorable interior with a French vibe. The food is a little pricey but still loved it. It?s like a very fancy panera. I got the la Madeline crepe and chocolate tart. The tart wasokaayyy nothing so great. The crepe was good (savory chicken). Would go back to try their salads and other pastries!
The best thing that distinguishes this restaurant from the rest of the restaurants belonging to la Madeleine is the quality of food and the excellent service from the staff and managers. You feel a family atmosphere inside the restaurant that remains forMadeleine flour mound number one for all la Madeleine's appreciate it you all the staff especially the manager I see himyesterday he's doing great job ???? ?? ?
My daughter and I decided to stop and check this place out, our first time going, went on a whim. Walking in everyone seem annoyed that we came in, they were mopping. Our receipt says 8:24pm and they close at 10pm.The cashier had a very weird smirk onher face, my daughter said to her ?sorry it?s our first time here?, no change to her smirk. We paid, went to the self help sodastation, we both poured a soda , we both poured it back out. The soda station was absolutely disgusting (pics) the place smelledlike pee. The table we sat at looked at felt like it hadn?t been washed in months. It was covered in a sticky grossness (pics)my daughter went back up to ask for it ?to go please ?, we came home to eat. I had ordered the Croque Monsieur and my daughterhad the creamy pasta mine tasted like it was a sponge that they tried to rehydrate- absolutely gross. This place was awful.
My lemon tart and strawberry salad was great, however for the second time I received a to go order that has old spinach quiche- first we ate some and got sick, this time a friend offer to buy me dinner and I was craving the wonderful fluffy freshly cookedquiche instead I got a 10 hour old quiche. Picture is attached. I didn?t call and complain because at this point it?s not aboutmoney- it?s about bad food service from la madeleine in flower mound..,,please don?t eat if your quiche looks like the picture. It is old and might make your tummy hurt.
We have been driving for years in La Madeleines to various locations throughout the region. While the portions have become smaller over the years to not mention that the menu itself has reduced in the size of the elections, it is still good food and service. This is our first and last trip to the Flower Mound site. First problem (which was really not much of a problem) we were there to eat and our food was brought into bags. No choices of bread and jams like all other La Madeleines. The real problem: not to see seasonal specials I asked if they had the cranberry turkey sandwich they had in recent years during that time. She says yes and that's how I assumed I ordered. When opening our boxes, I see a different kind of sandwich than the one I had ordered. I'm going up and asking what happened to my cranberry turkey I ordered. She says we don't really have this, so I gave you the next thing. I got the Croque Monsieur instead. Absolutely nothing compared to Cranberry turkey. Why on earth would you not just say that you no longer have this sandwich and let the customer choose what they want to order instead? Then I come here and see the evaluation of this place that houses the hate groups here. EWE, you should all be ashamed of yourself because you fill in such a tightly leaned hatred to congregate in your business. We will definitely never return here and I will spread the word.
