Laid Back Burger Shack - Florence

The restaurant is small with only a few kitchen staff, but the food was delicious. It's worth a visit if you don't mind waiting a bit.

I was very impressed by this quaint burger joint located in a tiny town. The establishment is well-managed, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The food is incredibly delicious...wow. Despite its small size, the service is excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone, especially travelers.

The burger was really good, but unfortunately, one of the employees made a comment to a female customer under their breath. The gentleman with the customer requested to speak to the employee, but the manager got involved and spoke to the employee after hearing the complaint. The manager then returned to the customer, stating that's not what was said. Two things stood out to me: first, the employee I witnessed prior to the complaint had robotic motions, no personal greeting, or thank you when taking an order. Second, the manager should have privately addressed the complaint with the employee instead of coming back to report what was said to the customer. Overall, the burger was enjoyable, but the young employees could benefit from additional training.

We got the Laid Back, fries and chicken Philly. Everything was good, especially the chicken Philly. Called it in, picked it up when we were told it would be ready. Definitely recommend. #buylocal

Burgers were excellent, made fresh not frozen pattys. Onion rings were the best I?ve had in a long time. Super crispy and not too much batter, great seasoning!
