Shake Cafe Santa Maria Novella

I had the sweet potato “toast” with nut butter and fruit on top. Now I expected it to be bread or toast made from it (which is variety of gf bread) It was literally just slices of sweet potatoes covered with nut butter and fruit. Weird combo and not tasty at all. Lol. Waste of money and time (tool ages to make) not sure who came up with this hair-brain idea. Updated from previous review on 2022-10-19

Lovely croissant and coffee but limited seating, some seating outside but it was raining and wet

Got some lovely vegan pastries here. So easy to get vegan croissants in Italy. First croissant since becoming vegan 40 years ago.

Many vegan options. I chose a muffin as croissants were sold out from 10 am (can go earlier if you want one! . My Americano was disappointing, especially compared to all the others I had on my trip.
