Tubb's Shrimp And Fish Co. - Florence

I love seafood...alll seafood and have for decades. I have had a home in Charleston for 20 years just a few miles from Shem Creek and the Shrimp Fleet so I know fresh shrimp. There is no restaurant in Charleston whose fried shrimp can compare to Tubbs. I quit eating fried shrimp in Charleston so I could eat it when I came back to Florence...I promise! Also they almost always have a special catch you can't find anywhere else in Florence. Fish like Triggerfish, Red Drum, fresh Tuna, Swordfish, and Grouper to just mention a few.... grilled, blackened, broiled they are a seafood lovers' heaven! So if seafood is your food if choice I strongly recommend Tubbs.

Found this place without a recommendation and it ended up being the best place we had in town that weekend weekend highly recommended

First, our waitress, Aleia was knowledgeable and very pleasant. The raspberry margarita had plenty of tequila and was delicious! I ordered the she crab soup and it was in the top two best she crab soups I've ever had. I asked the chef to cook my brussels sprouts a little more, and they were cooked perfectly with a delicious balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My husband ordered a platter and everything on it was cooked to perfection. The grilled squash was exceptional. Made our first time visit there delightful! Thanks Tubb's!
