The Butchers Arms - Flintshire

Decided on a last meet up with friends and looking at the reviews for here we decided to give it a try! Free for campervans as long as you have a meal, I think it was 10£ EHU, which we didn't use. Tight gateway into carpark. Staff very chatty and friendly! Bar didn't open till 5pm, food served till 9pm. No toilets to use when pub closed! They dont sell craft beers which was a disappointment to hubby, so he drank Guinness. Lovely food, 3 different meals for veggies which our friends are, they had lasagne which they said was lovely, you also got chips and salad, hubby and I had sirloin steak chips and salad. They were huge servings!! Tasty!!! Desserts where lovely too!!! Lovely location as you can see from my photos, they were taken about 10pm!! We sat outside by our vans and ended up watching a couple of bats flying around and listening to the cows nearby. Little play area for the kids! Hard standing and grass to park on.

First time we have visited the pub and it won't be the last. Exceptional Sunday Roast and the hosts Richard and Karen were so welcoming the food was amazing lovely log fire and a really good choice of deserts to finish. Amazing experience Paul

Used as a motorhome stopover and what a find,the food was fantastic and the father and daughter who run it are fantastic as well I will definitely use again if in that area.

As a family, we have been coming here for a number of years. I can honestly say that you get first class service at this lovely, family run pub. The staff always make an effort to ensure you have a very welcoming reception, the food is super delicious and it is a generally positive atmosphere for all. For us, it's just like visiting relatives and this is how all pubs used to be!!
