Bidrage med feedbackI ate here a few times and was always happy with the quality of the food and the soup was always hot and tastey.
We stayed away from the Royal for years, 'cause it looks like a dingy bar from the street. When I finally went in, I was surprised to find a nice dining room, good food and great service. It gets pretty busy for lunch, so hitting it on off hours is better for quickness, but overall this is probably my favourite restaurant in FF now.
When I am in the Creighton / Flin Flon area for work, we usually stop at Royal Rib for lunch. If you go at a busy time service may be a bit slow. Food had always been good anytime we have eaten here. Staff are very friendly and the place is clean. Will definitely stop here for lunch next time I am in the area for lunch.
Went for supper - group of 8. Not my choice of restaurant, but was obliged to attend a family function. The menu at the Restaurant NEVER EVER Changes . . . I mean never. It has been the same menu since it opened as Royal Ribs. Worst of all, the Specials are always repetitive and feature items ALREADY on the menu. Ribs are always on special - which means there's $1.00 off.So, I went knowing all of these things - none of it was a surprise. Our waitress was very good - got drinks to whomever ordered quickly, and was back right away to take our orders. Attentive throughout the meal.Soups - Turkey Barley and Lasagna were delicious, but not piping hot.The meals were the same as always - COLD Toast, COLD Veggies, COLD Potato.Nothing angers me more than getting a cold meal, especially in a restaurant. The gravy on my meat was congealed, though the meat was warmer, It may simply have been that the plate itself was warm.Toast was cold, and there was no sign on garlic on it.The canned corn was stone cold, and my baked potato couldn't melt the butter. I spoke to others at the table - all echoed my sentiments. COLD Toast, COLD Veggies, COLD Potato.I ended up sending my potato back, and they graciously sent out a new one. It was hotter, however, far more "crusty and overcooked" than my first potato. For what you are paying for a meal here, it should have ALL of its parts arrive hot! This is not the first time we've received cold veggies and baked potatoes, it seems to be the norm.I would never choose this restaurant for supper for several reasons-: the menu is dated, never changes, and the specials are never anything that isn't already on the menu - the Chef has absolutely NO imagination when it comes to cooking and never selects vegetables unless they are canned or come frozen-. most menu options (other than steak) are breaded, deep fried, or buried in a sauce or melted cheese - you can't get anything that would be considered part of "clean eating-" the veggies (no matter what canned or frozen concoction they are), are always COLD- the baked potatoes are always COLDI truly dread the annual family function that requires me to eat at this restaurant.I know it will be sub par, and it always is . . .
Just finished having supper and the food was awesome. Price for food was good. Will agree with a previous review about if u go at a busy time service is a bit slow.
