Epoca Restaurant - Flims Waldhaus

Absolutely fabulous food, better than some Michelin-started restaurants we were. Both the vegan and the traditional 5-course surprise menus were amazing. The service was also excellent. Everything was so good that we went back two weeks later with friends who were also impressed. Very recommend...this restaurant if you are in Flims.

What a beautiful experience has given us the boss and his staff. The restaurant is located on the grounds of the Waldhaus Hotel in Flims. The interior is chique and atypical Swiss (bright lighting). It is cozy and well furnished. The staff is right...and well informed, but not too formal. The food is really delicious! What creativity and craftsmanship! The young chef (only 24) will certainly get a Michelin Star and had a nice career ahead of him.

The big finale last night of our stay at the forest house Flims, we were blessed to enjoy a truly culinary explosion in Epoca. We had a beautiful table right at the window where we could enjoy the breathtaking views, but also... take a look into the open kitchen. It was great to watch teamwork with absolute perfection, but also fun and passion. The team was remarkably young, which did not influence their professional attitude and expertise. The food was just another level and a real culinary explosion. We really enjoyed every bite. In addition to the amazing look and the stunning display, the taste was exceptional. Especially remarkable was the duck and the veil along with the non-alcoholic drink. I usually never comment on a visit from restaurant or even Instagram posts from Essen. In this special case, I could not help both to honor the extraordinary composition of this wonderful, young, professional and talented team of Epoca.
