We drove over today, but it was closed and there was nothing in the building. I'm not sure why they claim to be open when they clearly aren't. It's disappointing, especially since there were such great reviews.

The food here is absolutely delicious! It’s a hidden gem that you definitely don’t want to miss. My only gripe is that they seem to run out of ribs quite frequently.

Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. When I visited, nothing particularly stood out; the food was cold and lacked flavor. Overall, I wasn’t impressed at all—it didn’t resemble the authentic cuisine you’d find in Louisiana or Mississippi. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but I would honestly advise against it, especially for those visiting from out of town. Additionally, during our visit, the cook was in the kitchen wearing a tank top, which I found unprofessional. As someone who has worked in the culinary field for years, I believe it's important to show respect for the job and maintain a proper appearance, especially when visible to patrons. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The ribs were old and clearly not smoked. The person at the counter seemed unprofessional and was very persuasive in trying to keep us from leaving. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place; all four of us ended up with serious stomach issues for the next couple of days. It's best to steer clear of this establishment.
