Cafe Graziella - Flagtown

We 've been customers here for 25 years and always had a good overall experience. There has been a definite drop in customer service for some time now. We experienced bad service a few weeks ago for dinner, but chalked it up to a one off . Then we returned with a party of 8 (and booked ahead of time). There was total indifference from the manager and wait staff. They sat us down and the wait staff didn 't appear to take orders for 30 minutes. It was early in the evening and they were not even busy yet. I had to ask 3 times for a glass of water! They temperature in the room was near 80 degrees maybe the AC was out, and we were dripping. Slow service and the food quality appears to have dropped as well. I can no longer recommend Cafe Graziella. Not a great experience from what was once a very nice place to eat.

We ordered four full trays of catering, two with chicken and two with veal. At home we saw the trays had a half, if not a third, of the food that other similar places in the area provide. Thin slices of meat, cut in half to create an impression of more portions . Each tray probably had 6 or 7 typical adult servings, not 15 as we were promised. The food was ok, but even our guests commented on how little of it was provided. It 's embarrassing to have this kind of conversation. At $100 per tray, we simply feel cheated. Will never use them again. I don 't know what happened to the industry after covid, but one is getting tired of getting swindled like this. The only remedy left is to write an honest review and hope it helps others.

We met good and loving friends to celebrate an 80th birthday. It really was the perfect meal. The service was outstanding and the food was just fabulous. I can highly recommend Cafe Graziella!

Honestly disappointed. Have had good memories of dining here, but I will not be back unfortunately. We dined on a Sunday night which was probably part of the problem. It seemed like the bread was leftover from Saturday night and just re-heated. Eggplant appetizer was just ok. My meal was suppose to have scallops, shrimp and clams in it. While it did have 4 clams, I think there was 1 shrimp (cut up into 3 tiny pieces) and maybe 10 teeny tiny bay scallops (not the larger sea scallops). Price of meal was 29 which I don't think was cheap (although not especially expensive). Overall, just small portions..feel like they are cutting back to save and not the place that I remember it to be.

A hidden gem (30 years in the making). Yes Cafe Graziella has been there 30 years!I expect due to its location this place is often overlooked and that is unfortunate. The food was delicious, service and team members exceptional and atmosphere very relaxing. A shout out to ILidia our server who was so knowledgeable, friendly and simply a joy to talk with.Looking forward to going back soon and enjoying one of their fresh seafood specials yes I said fresh, how wonderful to know.Give it a try and I hope you love it as much as we did.
