One of my husband’s top places to eat in Flagstaff.Very tasty place to come and have a meal and relax.My family and I enjoy it every time we come here.

“Thank you for your patience” is all that Jordan, working the front this evening, would had to say to acknowledge the difficulty Pita Jungle had filling our, and many others’, dinner order.A couple of minutes extra would have been an understandable buffer to prepare two shawarma pitas and two sides of potatoes, but 18 minutes past the pickup time is beginning to test the bounds.The food at this location is good enough that we have been lured back after previous extended wait times for takeout, but this was the first time an employee has acted as though customers awaiting their food are an imposition.I don’t know what management needs to do to have the entire process run more smoothly and efficiently, but after this evening I don’t think we’ll be back to find out. The host can’t control the kitchen or the number of orders coming in, but she certainly could have been gracious and pleasant in the midst of Pita Jungle’s self-created chaos.

Saw the good reviews, but wow was really disappointed. Service took forever, which would have been fine but the food was very underwhelming. Got the gyro bowl and the rice was totally overcooked and crunchy. Pretty bland otherwise. The gyro meat itself was good though, so there’s that I guess.

Their food is always incredible. Only downside is every time I go they are sooooo slow. I waited almost 45 minutes after they removed my dishes to get the check. They're friendly and nice the food is great but I always spend wayblonger here than anywhere else. Almost as if I've been forgotten
