Kokiyo - Flagstaff

A recent visit to flagstaff reminded me of the awful experience I had here in December. My fiancé and I both ordered a kimchi soup. The egg in it had an ungodly amount of hair in it. I’m not talking one or two hairs, which I’d be understanding of. There were literally clumps of it on the egg. Like a dozen or so. I can’t even understand how that much hair got into it without there being a massive issue with hygiene in the back kitchen. The thought of coming back to this place again makes me feel ill.We also ordered the boneless chicken with spicy sauce. Order that if you want red coloured sweet chicken. The flavour was so bland, and the chicken extremely over cooked and tasted like it was reheated in a microwave.

This is a great Korean restaurant.The food is not salty and is healthy.The restroom is clean.

This place is great! It's a little hidden compared to the larger downtown area, but is a must-try. There is definitely something for everyone. The portions are big enough for two or three people. The staff was friendly and helpful when I had questions regarding the different options. It is also nice that certain items on the menu come with sides to share for the table.

One of my favorite spots in Flagstaff! My friends and I visit regularly; it has such a charming, cozy atmosphere. The food is amazing—just the presentation alone shows how much attention they put into it. The portion sizes are generous, and the extra sides that come with each dish make the prices very reasonable. Even if you're a picky eater, you'll definitely find something you love here.
