Hiro’s is widely regarded as the top sushi and Japanese restaurant in the city, a fact supported by numerous local reader surveys over the years. The service is solid, typically provided by some older rock-style guys in black t-shirts. Both the sushi and cooked dishes are outstanding. The sushi is consistently fresh, generous, and diverse, while the curry and noodle dishes are flavorful and served in large portions. Recently, Hiro has completed a renovation that expanded into the adjacent room, creating a larger dining area to accommodate busy weekends, which means less waiting time for those impulsive sushi cravings.

Fair prices and fresh sushi! We found this place by recommendation from our Airbnb owner, who has lived in Flagstaff for 30 years. Nothing to fantasies about the atmosphere. We thought the seaweed somehow tasted fishy, but everything tasted somewhat different than our local spots in Ohio!
