Bidrage med feedbackTour Galicia brought us to Fisterra for a lunch break. Thankfully the cafes were open, but not much else on a Saturday afternoon (wish I’d bought a souvenir at Cape Finisterre). The service was prompt, but there was a communication challenge since I don’t speak Spanish. Thankfully, I was able to point to the daily specials written on their chalk board to get the fresh catch of the day. I ordered a salad and ended up with two, because the special came with a salad, although the waiter neglected to tell me. No worries, it was pleasant on the patio and with a glass of wine, all is well.
Why is it so difficult to get some salad to the meals? I had spicy pork and compared with other food it was quite spicy but not so interesting! The service was much better than the food! My husband had fish Aguja and he was satisfied. It was served with potatoes and some cooked vegetables.
Lunch menu, mainly superbly fresh fish and shellfish with several meat dishes also.Excellent service, good portions and very pleasant ambience in this harbour front establishment well patronized by discerning locals.
