The Royal Oak - Fishguard

A week in fishguard, and that was the pub of choice, visited there on two evenings and also for drinks. large beer garden on the back of the pub with its own bar that was great. good view over the city. Eat was really good, between my wife and I have 4 different dishes that were all really delicious and good portions, my wife especially liked to think about the huh! personal really friendly would highly recommend.

Excellent meal in this beautiful pub in the center of fishguard. armed workers, service prompt, but not intrusive. great selection of foods that are served piping hot with fresh vegetables. the photo shows the chicken over. absolutely delicious, 10/10! do not miss if in the opposite.

Absolute cracker of an alcohol. table of 9 including children all eat. great eating, great service and a crisp venue. dogs welcome and a beautiful garden. highly recommended

We arrived far too early for our meal but fortunately discovered a lovely little sheltered sunspot out back perfect for a coffee. Inside, it has a nice cosy atmosphere exactly as you would expect to find in an old stone pub. Food wise,it was a tale of two meals. My fish pie was possibly one of the best I've had; full of fish rather than potato as is often the case. My wife had locally sourced pork sausages. Maybe this is common to this part of the world but the texture was a little soft and mushy for her taste. Not bad just different and something to be aware of. The service was excellent being both friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful staff! Great seated area outside with beautiful views. The food choices are great, really good quality grub using top ingredients, reasonably priced. They were very accommodating of our dog too, highly recommend!
