Sierra - Fish Camp

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It had the usual fare but nicely presented. You can also order off the menu. Our server was very good and attentive.

The food came out cold (2 steaks) the mashed potatoes had a different taste to anything that we know. Skip it if you can.

The menu is upscale as is the pricing. We didn't have a reservation (though they recommended one) and were immediately seated. Sierra has an odd feeling inside. It was very quiet and under full. Yet, the hotel was fully booked? We felt like we were sitting in an unpopular restaurant...But we had a nice meal plus there are no other choices for a fine dining experience.

The dinner menu is significantly lacking for how expensive this place is. I didnt find anything that I wanted, so I just got the nachos and they were alright. The breakfast buffet was ok, your typical continental breakfast for $20 a person. They do have a breakfast menu if you dont want to do the buffet.

We booked 2 days for our anniv but were not told this restaurant was closed. What a disappointment. This restaurant is in the Tenaya zlodge Hotel and was part of what we were looking forward to enjoying. We should have been informed
