Rosticceria Giuliano - Firenze

Sometimes you just don't feel like going out and sitting in a restaurant. This place is great and right around the corner from Hotel David. It has food that can be reheated along with pizza and other things. we got some pasta, robolitta and an assortment of roasted veggies. Everything in the case looked delicious and was definitely homemade. You can also eat at the small counter. The staff were incredibly pleasant and were kind enough to heat up our food for us. Definitely recommend

We popped in for lunch whilst staying round the corner at Hotel David. There's a perfect selection of salads and great bread for a healthy and tasty lunch. Lots to choose from here and if we were staying longer, I know we would have returned to sample more.

We just returned from a dream vacation in Italy, our last stop being FLorence. How blessed were we to find a dream hotel in the dream destination: Hotel David. There is one drawback to this luxurious and service-oriented establishment: it 's a bit off the beaten restaurant path, and after a long day of touring, we didn 't always want to head back out into the fray...plus Hotel David has a lovely social hour, with cocktails and solid hors d 'oeuvres. Not enough for dinner, though. We found the perfect solution in Rosticceria Giuiliano, which dishes up comfort food, Italian style, for weary travelers who want something a bit removed from the heavy pasta and sauces. Our first night here, we settled on a chick pea-veggie type of casserole with delicious sides, including what tasted and looked like falafel-style patties. Wine is available, as are luscious desserts and bread. The food can be boxed up for takeout, il ristorante da portare a casa, the option chosen by many locals, or heated up to eat in. True, it is a bar seating arrangement, but we had no trouble chatting and enjoying the food and the nice proprietors. Check out this place if you 're in the neighborhood. It 's most definitely off the beaten path, both in terms of cuisine choices and location, but STEPS away from that magnificent Hotel David.

Staying at AIRBNB in the same vicinity. After a day of traveling we wanted something Italian to eat in. A pan of Spinach accompanied with a side of peas/carrots and 2 Lasagna fit. Wonderful and pan licking delicious. We will eat here again!

Cool Italian place, we ate breakfest there, tasty mocarella and sweet onions. and tuna fish, fresh , snacks, sandwich and so on, very friendly stuff : variable Liked a lot, good vibes and italianish start of the day !
