La Taverna Degli Assi - Firenze

Every year we come to stay at Villa La Videtta, a hotel, 10 minute walk uphill from the restaurant. Delighted with ourselves for discovering this eatery where we spend every night, or at least try to do so, while in Florence. Amazing, changing, true Italian menu, excellent wine selection, personal service, friendly attitude even to our typically late night feasts. Flexible with adjusting dishes, weather for our teenage kids, or to a vegetarian likings. The fact that it is attached to the stadium allows our son run in and kick the ball (that we always bring along) in between the courses or when the adults stay up talking and indulging in a late cup. Our son made a lot of friends this way and we had interesting encounters too. Take away is possible. Can't wait to come back! Thank you guys at La Taverna degli Assi. Open in Berlin!

We arrived in Florence late and were famished. We were staying outside of the city center and did not know where to eat. Our hotel recommended this out of the way restaurant that is facing a tennis court, in a residential section of Florence. If you are in the area, you may want to try it. Dinner was perfectly fine, not the very best, but certainly fresh and tasty, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had fried seafood and enjoyed it. It 's more of a local restaurant for people who live in this residential area. Most tourists are not likely to find themselves there.

The tiramisu was my favorite that I had while I was in Italy! Very cool outdoor atmosphere. The fried dough balls with the cheese was sooooo yummy!

Buon ristorante. ottimo cibo e servizio impeccabile. siamo stati stupiti dai furti di carne, davvero un grande piatto. ottimo anche antipasti e primi piatti.

La pizza da voi è molto buona davvero degno di un ristorante a cinque stelle e poi il servizio è ottimo per sicuro torneremo
