Bidrage med feedbackSo pleased to find this. Looked small from the outside but we were getting tired trudging the streets so took a chance. We are vegetarian and while there is always something on Italian menus it gets a bit samey after a while. The Caprese was the first this trip to actually have basil leaves. There is a mixed crostini starter which we shared but be sure to mention if you want it Vegetarian. I loved the gorgonzola risotto and tried the tuscan soup the next night (we went back) which was good. My husband says the pizza was also good. The drinks were large and the prices a lot less than on the squares. Recommended
Wonferful authentic gasronomic experience. The Food, service and wine was just perfect! Recommend to everyone who is visiting Florence!
This lovely, authentic restaurant was the perfect place to end our stay in Florence. The waitress couldn’t have been lovelier or more helpful and she went to great lengths to help us out with anything. On top of that the food was delicious, cheap and in an optimum location. Grazie Mille
This is the third year I have eaten in this cosy restaurant in Florence. I have been lured back each visit to Florence by the typical Tuscan food, which is beautifully prepared, hearty, and full of flavour. The menu boasts several mouth-watering options, and the wine list is complementary to the food selections. The waitress was friendly and outgoing, with a friendly tolerance of an Australian trying to practice his developing Italian. This isn't a large place, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in atmosphere. If you are looking for a great place to sit and enjoy a Tuscan delight, while watching locals come and go, then this is a place you should seek out.
The kids were fading fast and we needed food. So happy my wife spotted this place and we were refreshed with delicious lasagne, spaghetti, and canalonni. Food came out very hot which was needed in the cold January weather.
