La Casa Cantina Restaurant & Store

Decided to take a trip on our motorbikes down Westside road to enjoy the windy road with beautiful views of the lake. We stopped at the cantina and opted to sit on their deck and enjoy a cold beer on a super hot day. The manager was very accommodating and our server was exceptional. They have off-licence sales, and a great little ice cream bar, as well they have other food offerings. Very relaxing and a great stop on our journey. We will definitely stop there again.

Pizza was amazzzzing and the Gelato was to die for!

I recently visited this restaurant and found out they have new fall hours. They will be offering takeout during the week, with dining in available only on Saturdays and Sundays in September. I was disappointed that they are no longer open 7 days a week, but hopefully they will return to regular hours next summer. I enjoyed the beef/lamb gyro fish tacos I tried in August, which were new items on the menu. The gyro came with onion rings and was priced at $16. They have a limited liquor menu with beer, Caesars, and highballs, but no shooters or mixed cocktails. The tables were spaced out comfortably, and I was surprised that I needed a reservation due to COVID-19 restrictions. Despite the small drink selection, I had a great meal with large portions and everything was fresh and hot. My friend ordered poutine and loved the gravy. The staff were friendly and chatty. I was also surprised that the dining room closes at 7 pm, with last call at 6:40 pm, but the staff explained that they are short-staffed due to COVID-19. Overall, I would definitely go back, even though I'm used to having access to food 24/7 in big cities. I appreciate having a place to eat in the middle of nowhere.

Very clean and tidy needs more stock though the man working their was very friendly and helpful

The restaurant had everything I was looking for. The staff was extremely friendly and the restrooms were clean.
