While the service was lacking and disappointing (1/5), the ambiance of the place was quite nice (4/5). It’s a shame because the overall experience could have been much better. --- Would you like any additional changes or details?

Our friends took us out to lunch yesterday, and we all tried different flavors of their homemade cakes. Each one was absolutely amazing! I also brought some apple cakes home. The service was quick and the taste was fantastic.

My sister my mother and myself ate here on Saturday 13th August. Ordered our meal at 18.58pm and were told that there could be up to an hours wait. We accepted this and went and waited. All the people around us and even ones that ordered after us came and went. At 20.15pm I asked a staff member where our meals were. She went and returned and said they would be soon. Waited until we were the only people left and our meal came out 1 and half hours after ordered. We were told it would be worth the wait. Well it wasn't and we will never be going there again. Will not be recommending it to family or friends either. My sister had Garlic Prawn topping for an extra $10 and got 5 prawns. I might add its a pub not a fine dining restaurant. Sad experience all round. Oh no it wasn't as the two female staff were very polite and friendly.

Love this place. We stayed at the showgrounds just behind the pub and had a great time. The people were so friendly and the food great! We visit this hotel most days after touring around the area. Great place!
