Bidrage med feedbackGood fish and chips, seemed a bit expensive, but uncertain due to the price of cadjau
Located right by the water, this restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience, though it’s a bit on the pricey side, which is typical for a seaside establishment. For instance, the fish and chips cost £10.25, a cappuccino is £3.50, and chips are £5. That said, the portion of fish was quite generous. It was freshly caught and expertly fried, making it very delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here, all while taking in the lovely surroundings.
I was just about to leave when I decided to share my experience. Forget about the Magpie in Whitby; this is the best fish and chip shop around! The staff is lovely—very helpful and friendly. The curry sauce is also top-notch! I highly recommend this place.
I had dinner here and while I didn't have any complaints about the fish, the chips were less impressive and I could have done without them. I was really taken aback by the pricing; the portion sizes didn’t seem to match the cost. I also found it outrageous that they charged £2 for a bottle of water when I can buy the same bottle at home for just £2 for a pack of 20. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful, though I was surprised to see an additional charge of £1 for a box for two sausages.
