Bidrage med feedbackAlla faccia della chiocciola, Petrini. Alla faccia dello slow food: siamo stati mandati indietro in malo modo arrivando alle 22.03 (prenotazione alle 21.30). Questo dopo che hanno cancellato una prenotazione fatta via mail per la sera precedente. Non esiste che le guide nel 2022 continuino a raccomandare ristoranti incapaci di gestire una prenotazione online via app (manco hanno un sito). E soprattutto è disastroso che una trattoria in mezzo al nulla anche se ha chiuso la cucina da 5 minuti non sia disposta a preparare un tagliere e un bicchiere di vino per un ospite in ritardo. “Siete arrivati tardi”. Senza neanche un “mi spiace”. Ecco: forse sono quasi contento di essere restato senza cena piuttosto che mangiare in un posto così. We were turned away in very bad manner at 22.03 and we had a reservation at 21.30. The booking made by mail for the day before was cancelled. This place is recommended by italian guides focused on low key genuine places. But the reservation process is just horrible and with their attitude it’s likely that they will ruin your evening too. A place that won’t even bother to say “sorry” and won’t even offer to sort out a platter of cold cuts for a late guest. That’s the very worst of italian hospitality. Trust an italian traveller. These places used to be the hidden gems of Italy. Sadly, at least this one, doesn’t even care about you three minutes after closing time.
Frammiche is an absolutely awesome Calabrian restaurant. From antipasto to dessert every item is delicious and authentic. Can’t wait to go back. Frank and Nico are the best!
You may need a sat nav to find this restaurant as it is situated along what looks like a farm track, with a sign which can easily be missed of the main road but it is certainly an experience to be recommended. This really is a locals restaurant and the owners seemed quite surprised to see us walk through the door. In doing so we went past the kitchen which was a hive of industry all greeting us as we passed. We went into a large dinning room which in effect was a large hall which seemed it had been in the family for generations as there was many photos and memorably and very rustic. The owners could not speak any English and no menu was available but we left it to them to choose for us. We had five courses which consisted of real authentic dishes and we showed our enjoyment of the sweet in particular and the next minute we were awarded with a second helping. This is not haute cuisine but good enjoyable food. The wine again we left to the owner’s choice which turned out to be his own wine. The bill came to 40 Euros which was extremely good value and we would recommend anyone to take some time to find this place.
Dinner by reservation with my wife is our grandson of years is taken degotation menu consisting of many courses that we unfortunately advanced for half given the abundance. fast and accurate service.
A nice little place, not very easy to find, just outside the village of Month. large parking lot. Fixed menu dinner always if there are intolerances. The menu consists of various very good dishes:vari appetizers (fagioli, chickpeas, peppers, potatoes, nduja, etc...)Quattro primi delicious and particular spaghetti al pistacchio, fileja alla frammiche, strozzapreti con fiori di zucca e pinoli e orecchiette al ragù. Seconds of meat to the grill and pork stylus, everything ok.Dolce not super.Amaro offered by the house. You eat well and are very courteous. To try!
