Xiroi - Figueres

Nice looking restaurant in the central square. However the food was a big let down. The Octopus and salmon were terrible. Only the service was good.

We dropped in just by lucky chance to have a small dinner. The place has the atmosphere of a cafe, so we didn't have too high expectations for the food, but the kitchen really surprised us. Both the risotto funghi porcini and the chicken-spinach meatballs were excellent. Together with 3 glasses of wine we paid 27.90, which we considered a fair price considering the high quality of the food. I would also like to mention the excellent service we got. I'd go back any time again.

Nice relaxed ambience with excellent service. The terrace is perfect for smokers and the weather was nice. The burgers, pasta and the pizza's are nice.
