Kettelhut's Smokehouse - Festus

We had been searching for an authentic BBQ smokehouse for quite some time, and our search has finally come to an end! Dining at this restaurant is amazing! The portion sizes are generous, the food is cooked perfectly, and the variety of choices is excellent. The prices are incredibly affordable and competitive with other places. We enjoyed dishes like roasted green tomato, onion rings, deep-fried corn on the cob, oven-baked potato, loaded baked potato with brisket, green onions, and cheese. For dessert, we shared a coconut cream cake and an apple cheesecake. If anyone is hesitant to try this smokehouse, I highly recommend it - they must experience it for themselves!

This restaurant is amazing! I was in the city for a class and decided to try it out. I ordered the blackened steak, and it was cooked perfectly - so tender that it practically melted with each bite. The loaded fries were delicious and generously portioned. My coworker ordered the burger, which was also fantastic and quite large. Another friend got the three-meat nachos, which were packed with flavor and could easily feed 2-3 people. All of us couldn't stop raving about how delicious our meals were for the rest of the day. We all agreed that the 45-minute drive to come back was definitely worth it!
