The White Hart Inn - Ferndown

I had my first experience at White Hard, and I really enjoyed it. It's a genuine old-fashioned pub with good beer and affordable, easy-to-eat food. Unlike many other pubs, it doesn't try too hard to impress. I will definitely return. I should also mention that the guy behind the bar was very friendly.

Of the three pubs in Longham, this one offers the best quality beer. The brewer is Badger. I enjoyed two pints of Tanglefoot, a very nice Guinness, and a Champion ale (see photos). It seems to be quite popular with the locals, which is understandable given the quality of the ales. The interior isn’t very large, but there is a lovely fireplace and a corner where books are sold. There is also a beer garden, although I didn’t use it during this visit.

Friendly service during my lunch visit while waiting for the next bus. They offer a great variety on the menu, but we only had time for a sandwich, which was not only well-presented but also quite generous in portion. I even had to take a doggy bag to finish it later!
