A small chalkboard on the wall displayed the selection of vegan chocolates available. I decided to try a peanut nut cluster and a haystack. Although they were pricey (priced by weight), they were indulgent and delicious.

I enjoy going to this restaurant, especially when Matt is working. He has a naturally charming personality and is great to interact with. I'm grateful that this place offers vegan and dairy-free options because many of my family members, including myself, have dairy allergies or intolerances (I'm also allergic to eggs). The vegan dishes I've tried have all been delicious, but my mother, who is visiting from Texas, particularly enjoyed the cherry chocolates and even took some home for her family and friends. I have to admit I love chocolate. What I love about Sweetness and Light is that they don't just make the traditional candy but they have experimented as well. Just recently, they put out a Mexican chocolate caramel. It's a caramel with Mexican chocolate, dark chocolate dipped in milk or dark chocolate. You can also get it with a little salt on it. You may think that's a strange flavor but it's quite good. The spicy toffee is also very good. Well worth visiting, whether you want to try something traditional or something a little unique!
