Whistling Sparrow

Noticed it had just opened and dropped in for dinner with my wife. Lots of variety in the menu and drink options. A limited wine list but reasonable prices. Enjoyed the fish taco and sampling plates. Helpful staff, two main courses, a shared dessert, two coffees and a bottle of (good) wine for less than $100. There’s a lot to like in that.

Visited the Whistling Sparrow with my family for the first time as we recently moved into the area and loved the experience! We ordered their signature sparrows big breakfast two which was food coma! Highly recommend as it’s the best of sweet and savoury. We also ordered their French toast and the bread was moist and delicious with superb presentation and the Portuguese baked eggs were delicious. Service was friendly and coffee was the best we’ve had in the area, Our new local!

Great hearty and tasty food. My partner and i went in for a quick dinner but the staff turned our night into a date night. Very attentive, warm and friendly! Id only say the menu visually could have been better designed as the layout and the food presentation was excellent!

First time trying the restaurant on Saturday night for my mother in laws birthday we had initially booked for 4 people but eventually had 9 people as we had last minute family confirmations. The restaurant was full and busy, however, the manager accommodated us and got extra tables! The food was delicious, great presentation and everything was high quality. Great GF options to. Very cosy atmosphere and service was friendly and the staff were attentive despite being very busy. We got a little birthday surprise at the end which was very thoughtful! Thank you for looking after us!

My friends and I always enjoy the food, coffee and service immensely at The Whistling Sparrow. A favorite dish of ours is The Sparrows Nest. In each dish we have had, we've noticed how carefully the ingredients are considered and how well the flavours work together. The ambiance is great too. I'll soon be celebrating my birthday there with a group of friends with varied dietary requirements because I know that the dishes here are not only delicious, but also reliable and suitable for my group. You can't go wrong with a meal here. I know this because wr always leave happy and with a full, satisfied tummies. :
