Bidrage med feedbackI was initially drawn to the Good Kitchen by a photo of 皮蛋瘦肉粥 on its Zomato page. This implied to me that it would be a quick and easy place to get a quick and easy feed. It was only until we were situated and tea had been served that I realised that The Good Kitchen is very much a legitimate restaurant, complete with its own live seafood tanks (more on that later), and not as accommodating for a quick and easy meal. My girlfriend will attest that I deliberated leaving after looking at the menu, but ultimately stasis was the basis of my decision.
I think this place is newly opened or newly renovated, the owner was doing the most to ensure we were satisfied with the food. He recommended a lunch special for 4 which included pork and century egg congee, breadsticks, steamed chicken (amazing! , beef rice noodles and Chinese broccoli. Really good price for delicious Cantonese food!
Been going here for years now. Very consistent place that you can rely on for tasty canto/hk food. Wide range of dishes on the menu, not fancied up that keeps things interesting. Always new things to try, not that I tend to. Prices are standard. They also have pretty good breakfast/arvo special deals that's always a bargain.
Consistent HK styled chinese food. This is our local go to place when we don't feel like cooking. For dinner, we go for for the set for 2 people pick 2 dishes from the list vege rice complementary soup.
I usually eat here for the afternoon tea from 2-5pm. The food is relatively cheap and the style of food is very similar to the ones you find in HK cafes. With the likes of instant noodles, French toast, rice rolls etc. accompanied with a free drink of red bean milk or milk tea. My friend rejected a free drink. HAHAHAHA
