Bidrage med feedbackI visited Queens with my Mum for brunch a couple of months ago. There is an outdoor area out the back which allowed me to bring my puppy dog! The ham/cheese croissant was amazing and I got a nutella donut take away which was even more amazing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They even brought a water bowl out for my puppy.
Best pastries in the St George and Shire areas. Good lamination with the croissants and pastries. Some of the croissant filings take over the croissant and make then soggy which is a shame. Breakfast menu is basic but good. Coffee is good and has Bonsoy. I'm a regular here. Owners please put prices on your items!
A friend recommended this place to me yesterday. I thought I would go and check it out with my other friend. Coincidentally the owner was an acquaintance of my friend. So i am unable to judge if it's always excellent customer service or because there was a former connection we were treated nicely. <br/ <br/ We came in the afternoon so most of the pastries were already gone. What I did order was so some sort of chocolate espresso cake, unfortunately the name of the desserts were all jumbled up so we took a gamble. Luckily the coffee taste in the chocolate cake was so good. I'm not sure what to call or even describe the other dessert. It was lovely and more suited for people who aren't a fan of chocolate. It was really nice. The 2 dessert we went halves in. I ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice and I must say it was the nicest I have had... perhaps I was thirsty and it was hot so I enjoyed it that much more. I would definitely go back again. I didn't try the coffee, they serve single-o yeehah blend, perhaps next time. <br/ <br/ The parking was reasonable, the decor of the cafe was appealing however I didn't like the fact there were no prices on the display of the pastries/ cakes. So I'm uncertain how much we paid. We paid just under $30 for 2 dessert and drinks- I do think it was a little pricey but I'm not sure what costed what. It was though a lovely experience :
Noticed some people sitting outside this cafe on the little strip of shops as I drove to ramsgate. Was on the hunt for a coffee, so I stopped. I walked in and omg my face lit up. It was pastry heaven. What a display! Everything just so fresh and so nicely presented and just looked too good. I ended up ordering my coffee in a form of a double shot skim iced latte but took home a quiche which had capsicum and onion and a pistachio croissant. The quiche was so unbelievably amazing. The pasty melted away whilst the onions and capsicum were sweet and delicious. The croissant was beautiful! It had pastry cream and yum. Will come back here for sure. Have already decided will return for brunch next week. Can't wait to try other sweets.
Wonderful staff and a great indoor outdoor setting. We sometimes just grab coffee and a 'treat ' or sit down for a beautiful breakfast/brunch/lunch. Love this place.
