Guzman Y Gomez Australia Square

Guzman y Gomez is primarily a takeaway store, but you can eat in too. A small store but easy to grab a quick bite to eat. They sell burritos, tacos, quesadillas and bowls. I got a salad bowl, custom with steak, chicken, brown rice, cheese and jalepenos. Also came with a small salad dressing. You can pretty much add whatever you like; salsa, sour cream, guac etc. Fast service. A great place for a quick spot of mexican.

My fav place for Mexican food. I just bought their very pricey enchilada and it was quite a lot of food. Bog-standard GYG taste with that 'self-serve ' sauce and pickle station! It is situated right in the middle of many offices and during lunch peak it was packed. They were full of kitchen staff though so the food came out real fast and the line moved quickly. One thing I would point out is the tables are not getting cleaning during rush because all their resources go to the kitchen. I would suggest getting takeaway or find a spot outside in the sun. Xihuahua got spoon fed like a big baby haha!

Nice choice for lunch, and also surprised to find it open at 5:30pm. I ordered the chicken salad with a mild flavour. The amount of chicken was much more than I thought. If you try to talk to someone, and have something quick to eat, that would be a nice choice. Nice food, empty space at evening, and close to the transport (maybe also your office).
