Where do i even begin with this place... i have trialled this place now 3 times and i can say i will never be coming back. My family and i ordered here last night and paid around $60 for our order. I pre ordered online at 6pm as from experience, the wait times are very long and my partner and i had both our newborn daughter and our 2 year old with us. We arrived around 645pm and our order was still not ready. Whilst waiting, other people who had ordered after had received their food before us. My partner approached 3 times asking how much longer and kept getting told 10 minutes. Fast forward, after my partner had to complain, we got our food... at 8pm!!. We waited from 6pm-8pm just to get 2x chicken baos and 3x dumplings. In return for the long 2 hour wait, they offerred a free drink which was declined. We got the full refund of our order and went home. Once we got home the order was wrong! After all that wait i was not able to eat my dumplings as it was a mix between prawn and chicken when i had specifically ordered pork inwhich they had written pork on the container. I am allergic to Prawn and ended up extremely sick! What did we get out of this experience? Nothing but a hospital visit and a complaint to the NSW food authority. Never will i or my family be coming here again.

I always wondered why Baby Bao wasn't an actual restaurant with more eating space. It turns out it's because they can't handle more than 1 order at a time otherwise their system breaks down. I ordered 2 pork buns today and waited over 30+ minutes with everyone else that had come much earlier than I had. Eventually it got ridiculous and I wanted my $6 refunded but all the staff was hiding in the back for the entire duration so I ended up just walking away without my food. Just ridiculous.

45 minutes waiting time to get very Average dumplings and the place wasn’t even busy . Not worth it, don’t waste your time. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
