Bidrage med feedbackThis place is amazing. It’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. We got the garlic bread, fettuccini bolognese and fettuccini alfredo. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My husband and I were really hungry so we ate it all but on a normal hunger scale, we both would have had leftovers. The garlic bread was warm, soft middle and crunchy outside. Butter and garlic were proportioned correctly. Wasn’t too salty or garlicky. The alfredo was rich and creamy. They used real cream for this. The bolognese was also rich and full of meat. The atmosphere is quaint, but can get crowded! We’re here on a Tuesday night and it was packed! It was also pretty clean, so that’s a plus. Anyways, I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed!!! Parking: The parking lot is smaller. On a busy night, you might be able to squeeze in a spot. We lucked out and found one. The service was really good, so people are eating and leaving on a good rotation, so hopefully parking won’t be an issue!! We were seated across from the kitchen. Where customers pick up their carry out meals and employees with nothing to do hang out and chit chat. Not exactly any ones first choice of seating. Almost as bad as sitting next to the restrooms. Our waitress was sweet, knew the menu and specials. However never asked if we needed water or a 2nd drink until we were done. Another server asked if I needed a box after my third bite. No one likes to be rushed through dinner. The purpose of restaurant eating is having a good relaxing meal. Luckily the food was delicious. But beware, no longer does your entree come with a salad, a vegetable or even a slice of bread. That will be an additional charge. Dinner for 2 over $90 1 beer and 1 glass of wine. No bread , really ? I will not be in any hurry to return. Too many other restaurants in the area. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
The food is just awful! My husband ordered 2 pizzas, a crabmeat bruschetta, and a tiramisu to go. We paid $80. We don’t mind spending a lot on food if it’s worth it and it definitely was not! The worst thing was the crabmeat bruschetta. It tasted like the tomatoes had been sitting in the vinegar for a really long time. And the crabmeat tasted like they just dumped it out of a container. It was just toast, gross mushy (way to vinegary) tomatoes, with crab on top and that’s it. I took one bite and couldn’t eat any more. The pizzas were just ok. It wasn’t anything better than what we could make at home. The tomatoes on the Margarita pizza were overly flavored. The thing that is so good about margarita pizzas is the freshness and it was definitely lacking in that area. The spinach ricotta pizza was okNothing to write home about. The tiramisu was pretty good. This was no where near worth $80! I’m disappointed we wasted our money. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Food: 1
Beet salad with watermelon was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best I’ve had. I had the lasagna which was very good . Not many layers but the sauce is great. The girlfriend had eggplant parmigiana. She was delighted with it. Nice portion size and plenty of flavor, plus a side of pasta. We got a chocolate cannoli for dessert had a taste but were too full to eat. It was pretty darn tasty. Our waiter was a very polished young man. Started off on a bad foot here. Parking is insufficient and we had to park in a neighboring business’s parking lot. The hostess was also very rude. These two factors almost made us turn around and leave. We opted to stay and the food was decent, but nothing to write home about. The cannolis on the other hand were very good and fresh filled. True Italians know that fresh filled is the only way to eat a cannoli. They also served espresso with a lemon rind twist which is a plus. This place has a lot of potential but needs to work out the kinks.
