This bar is a great little find just on the edge of the town. Located on the top floor of the hotel Monsuau it has amazing views of the mountains and sunsets that are breathtaking. There is plenty of lounge style seating and a few beds to lay on whilst you have a romantic view of the sunset together. There is a large selection of drinks available here with all the usual cocktails plus some house specials for you to try. What really makes this bar special is the amazing Valentina who is the bar manager here. Val is a professional cocktail maker who puts on a great show for you whilst she is creating your drink. Val can create you a personal cocktail to your taste if you simply tell her what spirit you like to drink, then just stand back and watch the show. I am looking forward to a return visit very soon. Stunning location! Stunning view! Charming, calm and beautiful colour lit cocktail bar, where you can prolong the atmosphere and sweet emotions after your dinner meal. And Lord, oh Lord what a meal! We had the tender loin, the pork and the duck. Perfect coocking and beautiful presented on the plate, by caring and watchfull waitors. The Duck Magret in particular a blessing, only exceeded by the fois gras risotto it was paired with subtile and integrated flavors you will spend the rest of the evening relive and appreciating. The wine list is not large, but stand out in quality. You’ll find Muga and Pesquera and some decent whites and champagnes. For dessert we had catalan creme and chocolate bisquet. By then our mood couldn’t get any higher. Two great courses for five adults, accompanied by quality wine and coffee and the bill just exceeded 170 euro. The last time we left a dinner with similar satisfaction I paid four times as much...! You’ll struggle to find a better place to dine in Cala d’Or, and you won’t find a better package or a place of better value! Try it!
