L'Escalier - Fécamp

1 good little restaurant that passes on Fécamp....seul hic...the server a little too serious... the very good meals and the wing of the line...just...

We had a good night! Dynamic service, very pleasant staff, quality nothing to say. We, who are accustomed to eating on the beach, is a good surprise for us and we will return! Thanks to the whole team!

What a drink ordered Planche de Charcuterie was not bad at all. The service was okay. Someone knocks over his glass 1⁄2 full )got a cloth a free new beer!

We are somewhat surprised to read some of the reviews about this restaurant, if I had read them before I would not have eaten there! We are both quite fussy, but because some of the restaurants in Fecamp were closed for holidays, our hotel said...give this one a try, the first time the food was really good, in fact two days later we went back for lunch, so this is how we can give our recommendation. Also, the French family on the next table, drove almost two hours from EU (next to Le Treport) just to come to lunch at this restaurant.

Arrived in Fecamp late on a Monday, we dived in here for quick moules frites. Aside from drinks, the simple food took forever to arrive, and then piecemeal. I had to ask twice for bread, receiving a surly response to my polite request in French....The food was OK, but given the number of other local restaurants, this is bottom of the list. Given we spent a good amount, we were treated very badly. I'm not even sure the bill wasn't higher than expected, but by then we just wanted to leave, so we paid up quickly and went.
