Unfortunately, since Admiral Taverns became the new owners, it has been shut. I hope it isn't another village permanent pub closure as it could, with a little investment, be a fantastic venue. Here's hoping!

An unpretentious, obviously well loved and frequented locals pub with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

I wouldn’t step back foot in this place if my life depended on it, the roof is collapsing it’s dirty, the meat is de frosted and then re frosted, not even fresh food, the beer is flat, the floor is dirty and the tables are sticky, the caravan park on the back is a hazard, no fire safety, it’s a mess, the whole place is a mess, there is no food hygiene at all, even though it says they sell food certain days they don’t, there’s lots of rot and it’s very out dated, the landlord of the pub is arrogant rude and doesn’t know what the meaning of a good pub is, as everyone who types his name in knows he has had several unsuccessful businesses and had passed his debts on to others, this pub is going to same way, down the gutter. It’s a dive, if you talk too loudly your banned this is defiantly not a family friendly pub, especially with young children as he shouts and swears at them. I wouldn’t come here again if my life depended on it. Would give it 0 stars and hope someone sorts this pub out before it ends up collapsing.
