Food was delicious, I ordered the Salisbury steak mac and cheese collard greens my son order fish and shrimp with collard greens and macaroni salad hands down the food was delicious

Called to place a pickup order. It literally took almost 20 mins for that to happen. Restaurant needs someone strictly for call in orders. Food was great!!!

Good food, solid serving sizes. The bbq pigs feet was good, as well as the regular bbq. They do not currently offer indoor dining, though there are some covered picnic tables outside. Other reviews mentioning a long wait time aren't wrong, but the food is good nonetheless

No call-in available. Called to place an order, but the answering machine picked up. Ordered the Seafood Platter that consists of flounder, small shrimp, scallops, stuffed crab, oysters and hushpuppies. It also comes with two sides. Oh, yes! It's all fried! Now, I enjoy fried, but it seems the hand was alittle too heavy with the salt adding it to the batter. Can't eat here too often; blows the GI index out of the sphere. I took 3 trips to Virgil’s this weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) which was about a hour drive from my house. My first 2 trips were great. The workers were so nice and treated us with respect. My only issue with the first day was I did not receive my banana pudding but I spoke with the manager and she happily took care of that for me. On Sunday I had a totally different experience. The order taker was pleasant as she was each day I came. My issue was with the lady who called me to the window for my food (Brittany). She was very rude and had a nasty attitude. When she handed me my order my strawberry shortcake wasn’t with it so I asked her about it and she started to reply it’s in there but stopped mid sentence when she noticed it was still inside the window. She then just dropped it on the counter for me to get and slammed the screen with no thank you or have a good day. The customers waiting for their orders immediately responded that she was very rude. I just shook my head and replied that she surely was but I won’t let her bad attitude affect me and change who I am or how I respond. I hope she gets a total attitude adjustment especially when working in customer service or find her something else to do. I truly loved the food but that attitude made it my last trip to this establishment.
