Bidrage med feedbackI remember when I was a kid growing up and this restaurant opened. The food was phenomenal. 10 years later from being gone tried it out with a to go order. Same stuff that used to be on the menu were no longer there. Walk in and place was clean at least. Looked over the buffet and decided to get a to go box. Employee was on the phone and waved me along like whatever. I almost walked out but didn't want to stop again on way home. Got fried chicken drum, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, BBQ chicken thigh, and teriyaki chicken. Go to pay and guy is ringing me up on the phone laughing at his video. When did standards become so low. Got to car and tried the chicken drum and was luke warm which in the industry means food temp not up to proper holding temp. Stopped at gas station and threw everything away because didn't want to be sick. Went home and made a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. I won't go back ever because food safety should always be a restaurant main concern.
Went for the lunch buffet. The food was fresh, hot and plenty of it.
It has been a long time since I've been here. So today I went with two of my friends for our monthly lunch date. I heard it has new management, but the place needs some updating badly. Huge menu item in their buffet, but it seems the same as it was from when it started. I started off with their sushi bar...variety was okay. My only complaint...they needed to clean the serving thongs...and after going around to the other food stations, management need to pay attention and check after his staff to make sure each station is cleaned up. We were seated at a booth, D3, that was written in a sticky note on the wall of our booth. Furniture needs to be upgraded. We noticed that all the utensils are disposable plastic ware, you know the ones you use when you have a picnic or company party. The lights were dimmed...and somehow there was an odor that kept lingering around the restaurant and it wasn't the food. Management needs to walk around...because the bathroom smelled horribly and it was just dirty. The Ladies Restroom had these two young teenagers hanging around with their cell phones listening to music and texting someone and of course the toilets were not cleaned, toilet paper were filled in the trashcan, water all over the sink. And the smell... On our way out, I went to talk to the Manager and told him that he needs to fix get a plumber to fix the sewer drainage in their bathroom and it's reaking that smell out to the dining hall. He spoke fluent English and replied as if he didn't care. I looked around to see their Health grade...it was a 94. Guess the Health Inspector didn't smell what we did that was reaking into the dining area from the bathroom. It's a shame...this place used to be very nice. Guess it's the last of the few buffets in Fayetteville. For $13-$15 per person...they can afford to upgrade.
This was our first time visiting this buffet. The host that was at the front that day didn't have good hosting skills.. if I walk up to a station to be seated they should at least say hi or ask how many or say here or Togo, something.. but I just said hello and put up the number 2 then she said 2 and grabbed everything (napkins, plastic ware, gloves). The place could use some sprucing up (I saw a wall socket with tape around it). The walls could use a fresh coat of paint but the buffet area was maintained and cleaned. It wasn't packed out but it was getting there, we went on a Saturday around 2 but they have plenty of seating space so I don't know if space/waiting will be an issue on other visits. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive. The tea was sweet. The food was so good. They have a wide variety of food, which is what I love about buffets. They have different types of certain things like fried chicken and French fries for example. I didn't see any ribs up there-bummer, but they had a lot of options. I didn't care for the kimchi, crab or pasta salad, or the fried sushi rolls but that's just me and May have something to do with the fact I lived in Korea for 3yrs... idk but overall everything I tasted was good. 4.0 for the taste, service by waitress, and quality of the food. 3.0 for overall experience/vibe of establishment (if hosts was better overall would be 4.0) Anytime we spend less than 40 for us both and the food was good. That's a WIN for us. I would recommend you try it and I will be back!
The food is fresh. Probably one of the best Asian buffets. I always eat way too much. Me and two 10-year olds came to $40. It’s not the cheapest buffet you can find but it’s worth it.
