The food is delicious, large portions and a simple clean-cut atmosphere. I recommend sticking with fruit juice or water and not ordering from the bar, not worth it.
This place is absolutely delicious. However, there are dishes that have to be ordered ahead since they take up to 1.5 hrs of cooktime. Also, dishes are often times unavailable (this has been the case every time I have been here). The food is extremely delicious and very authentic. Service is a tad slow, especially on weekends. I would highly recommend reserving a table and ordering ahead of time. Side note: some dishes are quite expensive. Location itself is small.
The bartender Vanesa was amazing, I had one of their best drinks, a Corona Sunrise. If you want to have a great time with amazing people and wonderful service. Then this is the place for you.
Food was okay, mofongo tasted more like a mangu with some fried plantains. The carne frita had no flavor to it. The yuca with mojo looked like it was thrown in sauce from carne guisada instead of mojo. Rice, beans and pechuga en salsa were good. It was weird ordering soda as a drink and being given a small bottle with a cup on the side, first place I have been to that does this without offering refills. The empanada the pollo was good. I feel like this place was overpriced maybe it wasn’t the experience I was expecting and I might give it another try sometime later on in the future.The service was good but I didn’t like hearing the employees talk about other customers who had walked in. I personally think if they were going to talk about them at least do it where other customers can’t hear about it and that killed the experience for me.
