Black Bear Diner - Fayetteville

The food used to be great, but ever since the new management took over, it has taken a turn for the worse. The bacon has changed, and now it’s terrible. My food arrived cold, and the bacon was also cold when I ate it. The overall experience just isn’t the same anymore. It seems like they’re more focused on selling retail clothing than on maintaining the quality of their food. They really need to prioritize improving the food quality.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Black Bear Diner in Fayetteville! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it's clear that the new management is dedicated to improving the place. We really enjoyed the gift shop and are excited to see what treasures we'll discover on our next visit! A big shout-out to you, Sierra!

My wife and I had to wait to be seated because there were no clean tables available. The hostess ended up cleaning a booth for us. After that, we waited 10 minutes to place our drink order. While we were waiting for our food, we witnessed the table next to us send their meal back due to a hair in it. They mentioned they had been waiting an hour for their food after being seated. Frustrated, my wife and I decided to leave before our drinks even arrived.

Went in for breakfast, got sat quickly and everyone was friendly when we walked in. Our server was Leah and she was there immediately to offer fun drinks, and then back to offer great food, We got the Chicken Fried Steak and chicken and waffles. Food came hot and fast and giant portions. Will be back!Parking: Good parking close to restaurant!

Over the year this place has improved, my husband and I have always gotten excellent service by all of the servers that we have had over the year.Always expect big portions so never expect to go hungry when visiting here, so doggie bag is a must. If you plan on stopping by here during the weekend expect a long wait, that has never been an issue with us due to the fact that we are patience people and will go out to the stores near by to kill time, but if you are in a hurry then there are plenty of fast food restaurants that you can visit near by.
