Adega Nova - Faro

If you want to try nice real Portuguese food, this is the place. Excellent value for what you pay, which is not expensive. Highly recommend it.

Our waiter was really nice. Food was just average really. Having to go outside and pay 4 euros to take cash out to pay for the meal isn't great. All in all I wouldn't recommend it but I wouldn't say don't go either. If you are strapped for time and near the train station then fine. Otherwise a few minutes walk to the restaurants on the front is probably worth it.

Visited today with husband and 11 year old daughter. Three of us shared the bitok and the bife na pedra. All of the food was good, service good, would return again.

Was staying in hotel next door. 4 of us called in around 9.45 just for a drink. Roared at by sweaty bearded dude. NO. There are ways to speak to people but this muppet is just one rude s.o.b. Could not recommend.
