Mister Frango - Faro

Foi um take away bastante demorado. Mas o frango estava bom.

Delicious! Juicy and tasty roast chicken, wonderful carrot salad and yummy desserts for a very reasonable price.

The chicken tasted great, and the staff was very friendly. My wife and I split an order of grilled chicken, rice, and fries, and it was plenty.

We were in Faro overnight because of a cancelled flight. Looked for someplace local for an inexpensive dinner and ended up at Mister Frango. Walked in early to be told that the restaurant part didn 't open until 7pm. Walked around the 'hood for a bit to waste 30 minutes. Went back at 7pm and walked through into a charming dining room. I speak Spanish, but not Portuguese. No matter, the person serving us was Stefan, from Moldova! There ensued an amusing meal trying to converse in part-English, part Googled Moldovan, and was highly enjoyable. A nice meal of Peri Peri chicken with a quality bottle of Portuguese red wine, nice dessert, etc, all for the bargain price of 36 Euros. Mulţumesc, Stefan.

My wife and I were looking for good food close to our accommodations. Mr Frangos was full of locals, usually a good sign. We had a liter of truly delicious White House wine, two half chickens and a dessert each. Everything was fantastic as was the service from a kind Moldavian lady. An awesome experience, very economical. We will be back!
