Macjetes - Faro

We wanted a place to lunch on the last Sunday. we found macjetes through some nice reviews online. we called in advance to find the vegetarian options on the menu and a table for 2. 10 minutes drive from faro to bordeira on the beautiful algarve front. the restaurant is located on a hill with a breathtaking view of the sea. when we arrived, valentina greeted us in the inner and was very helpful in any detail. chef gomes talked to us before we ordered. this chef is a living legendary! when I was vegetarian back in 2001, gomes was the only cook awesome vegetarian / vegan eating in faro and even in the algarve, much respect here! we had cuvert, suppe, main course curry tofu with sweet and baked kartoffeln) , desert and coffee for only 11 euro per person. nowadays there are many vegetarian and vegan restaurants in the algarve, but this chef at macjetes has everything that jazz in his hands that others cannot match. we also need to mention that valentina and the rest of the team provided us with a great and beautiful customer service. we are back! the English language

I had so many fabulous meals here, Valentina is a fabulous host, the setting is pure magic, sensational for informal or romantic meals, love this place.

Excellent food and business. we had lunch. three courses and wein for 10 euro each. beautiful outlook and weather.
