Charley's Waterfront Cafe - Farmville

The service at this restaurant was excellent. The server, Amanda (I think that was her name), was very attentive and accommodating. She also makes fantastic drinks. It was lovely to dine on the deck next to the river. The food was also delicious. Overall, I would rate the service a 5, the atmosphere a 5, and the food a 4. The price per person for lunch was between $10 and $20.

Our waitress, Debbie, was helpful when we asked to move from inside to an outside table (due to the restaurant being too cold for us), and she sold us on dessert with her descriptions and sharing her own favorites. We had a salad and a Reuben sandwich which we shared and it was enough that we took some home. Love the ambiance of sitting outside but inside was cold and a bit dark. Food: 4

The service at this restaurant was very slow. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and unfortunately, it was the worst food I have ever had at Charley's. The waitress seemed to be overworked. Overall, the service and food both received a rating of 2. The atmosphere, however, was a bit better with a rating of 4. Recommended dishes include the Greek Salad, Hot Crab Dip, Salads, and Hamburger. The price per person for a meal at this restaurant is between $20 and $30.

I thought it was going to be a bad experience because me and my husband sat down and no one came to get our drink order or anything for 15 min BUT a fantastic waitress named Debbie saved the date night! She came and got us, sat us it her section, and told us about the date night special, check on us frequently, and even gave us hiking and other recommendation while visiting Farmville. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, thanks to Debbie. We would definitely return!!!
